Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking expressions of interest from suppliers of traffic management services. This will include a variety of temporary traffic management work, including lane and road closures, diversions and temporary traffic signals to name a few, and will be inclusive of all equipment and manpower required.
The anticipated spend is in the region of GBP 800 000 for the full length of the agreement (48 months). The framwork will be awarded inititially for a period of one year, with the option to extend at the sole discretion of RMBC for a further three 12 month periods, each on a year by year basis.
All suppliers who wish to be considered for this tender must register on the SCMS system and electronically complete and upload the pre-tender questionnaire document onto the SCMS system no later than 17:00 hrs on Wednesday 7.12.2011. All pre-tender questionnaires must be returned through the system and will not be accepted by any other means.

Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking expressions of interest from suppliers of traffic management services. This will include a variety of temporary traffic management work, including lane and road closures, diversions and temporary traffic signals to name a few, and will be inclusive of all equipment and manpower required.
The anticipated spend is in the region of 800 000 GBP for the full length of the agreement (48 months). The intention is to award to a sole supplier, however if one supplier cannot meet the council’s requirements then it will be awarded to additional participant(s).

The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs).
