Argyll and Bute Council requires an external training provider to deliver the following course:

Course title: An Introduction to Adult Support and Protection

Target delegate: Staff who work with the public and who may come across an adult at risk of harm.

Course overview: This course is required to provide delegates with an understanding of the main elements of the Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act 2007, the definitions and duties provided by the Act and how to report harm if it occurs.
