1. To ensure pan-Army Officer training meets the need of the Army and to support the requirement to deliver that training to a consistent and appropriately high standard in accordance with the requirements set out in Joint Service Publication 822 – The Defence Manual of Training Management, it is necessary to conduct Job Analysis and produce Operational Performance Statements/Competency Frameworks (OPS/CF) and full Formal Training Statements (FTS) for the following courses (which don’t appear to directly match the SOR. Can you check and ensure which is correct so that they reflect each other):
a. Young Officers in first appointment. (Regular and TA).
b. Late Entry (Regular and TA).
c. Junior Captain in first appointment (Regular and TA).
d. Senior Captain in subsequent appoint (Regular and TA).
e. Professionally Qualified Officer (Regular and TA).
2. To ensure Army Phase 1 training meets the needs of the Army and to support the requirement to deliver that training to a consistent and appropriately high standard in accordance with the requirements set out in Joint Service Publication 822 – The Defence Manual of Training is necessary to produce full Course Training Packages (CTPs) for the following courses:
a. Common Military Syllabus Standard Entry.
b. Common Military Syllabus (Junior Entry Long).
c. Common Military Syllabus (Junior Entry Short).
d. Common Military Syllabus (TA).
The deliverables are expected to be complete within one year from Contract award. In order to achieve the most economically advantageous solution, the Army reserves the right to award requirements 1 and 2 above, separately should it be necessary.
