Description

The Council has been successful in being awarded a contract from the European Social Fund to deliver a new Skills and Employment Service aimed at moving those furthest away from the job market into employment. The service is aimed at up-skilling clients at the same time as removing barriers that may be preventing them from learning or gaining employment i.e. substance misuse, poor mental/physical health etc. The Me and My Learning Domain that this service will address is Domain 1 with the outcome being – 90% of the cohort to achieve European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) base level or equivalent tailored to life in Melton
