This is for the provision of professional and technical support on Public Transport Co-ordination issues.
Lot 2 – Bridge Management Consultancy.
This is to provide all professional and technical services for the management of the Employers bridges and highway structures, to ensure all structures are kept in a safe and reliable condition for all users at all times on the network through ongoing assessments, inspections and maintenance contracts under Section 41 of the Highways Act 1980 to maintain highway bridges, to prepare bridge condition indicators, priority lists for repair and forward planning, to keep accurate historical information, drawings and details, and to advise on the development of policy related to the proper management of the bridge stock requiring the ongoing monitoring of research and development in the industry.
