Description
As part of the ongoing development of the Hinckley & Bosworth Sure Start Children Centre Programme, please find attached a new service specification.
In a refresh of local priorities the partnership agrees that transport is an essential component underpinning the programme and is pivotal in gaining access to services and in reducing isolation of families living in rural communities.
The Children Centre Programme now requires a streamlined and centralised approach to transport. The provider will therefore develop a ‘whole borough’ transport solution offering a co-ordinated and managed model to provide dedicated support to meet the transport needs of the Children Centre programme by:-
· facilitating access to services for families living in rural communities
· facilitating access to services for families who are disengaged from or generally wary of
professionals.
Expressions of interest are invited from agencies who believe they are able to fulfil the requirements outlined in the attached service specification and take full account of the geographic challenges in the locality that impede access to services. The initial contract period is from April 2012 – March 2013. Full year costs can be no more than £ 17,500.
A form is attached for completion but providers should also attach additional information to describe their proposal, including two references who could verify your competence to deliver in this area.
Expressions of interest should be submitted by 25th March 2012. A panel will be convened on Monday 26th of March to review the applications.
