Tenders are invited for the provision of transport services for vulnerable adults and older persons. To be transported by minibus/tailgate vehicle, accessible people carriers or taxi with appropriate wheelchair securing mechanisms. Transport contracts to include journeys within Wirral. Clauses in this specification and Conditions of Contract apply to all types of transport service.
This service involves transporting older people and vulnerable adults to day centres or other facilities with their health and wellbeing of high priority. These may be regular ongoing journeys and or required over several weeks or one-off journeys at any time of the day. Weekly rates submitted or approved tenders may be used as required. Strictly no waiting time is to be charged to this contract.
