Worcestershire County Council is in the process of commissioning an extensive programme of travel research, due take place over the spring of 2012. This research, along with interim surveys, a final research programme and traffic monitoring, will be used to develop measures and evaluate the success of the ‘Choose how you move in Redditch’ project and the ITM programme.
This programme will be implemented in three distinct stages, taking place between April and October/November 2012, 2013 and 2014, across the 60 % of the households (approximately 34,000) in Redditch. It will involve an initial contact to determine the level of interest of each household in receiving individualised travel information. This contact phase will then inform the remaining level of contact with each household.
