The appointer supplier will provide specialist advice, skills and resources in the following areas whilst adding value to the Council’s treasury activities:
— delivering the Council’s strategy,
— investment policy/management,
— borrowing,
— prudential indicators,
— debt management/restructuring,
— creditworthiness,
— interest rate forecasts,
— economic advice,
— compliance with CIPFA code of practice,
— staff training.
The service specification provides more information on the services to be provided as part of this contract. The appointed supplier will also assist with asset investment decisions made by charities supported by the Council including:
— House of Industry (charity No 257079),
— Freemans Common (charity No 257628).
