Tree-maintenance services. Tree-clearing services. Tree-cutting services. Tree pruning. Arboricultural Services (Tree Surgery)Chelmsford City Council requires Arboricultural Services and is seeking to appoint a minimum of 6 appropriately qualified and experienced contractors to a framework agreement to provide tree surgery services across the Council area, which includes Public Parks, Open Green Spaces and other properties owned and managed by the Council. The Council currently budgets 73 000 GBP per annum for this service, but is also making the framework contract available for use by other members of the Procurement Agency for Essex. Whilst the use of the contract cannot be mandated in these organisations an estimate of potential spend on this contract could be up to 4 000 000 GBP. Appointment to the framework agreement does not constitute a guarantee of any income as work required will be awarded following mini-competitions during the life of the framework agreement. Companies applying for inclusion on the tender short-list must be Arboricultural Association Approved. Information and formalities necessary for evaluating if the requirements are met: The Authority will apply all the offences listed in Article 45(1) of Directive 2004/18/EC (implemented as Regulation 23(1) of the Public Contract Regulations (PCR) 2006 in the UK) and all of the professional misconducts listed at Article 45(2) of Directive 2004/18/EC (see also Regulation 23(2) in the PCR 2006) to the decision of whether a Candidate is eligible to be invited to tender.
