The University Hospital Birmingham (the ‘Authority’) is issuing this invitation to tender, in connection with the competitive procurement of the uninterruptible power supply installation support and maintenance, which will require ongoing supply, installation, support and maintenance for the duration of the contract and any extensions awarded

The Authority is seeking a supplier to manage and maintain the UPS services within the data centres and communication rooms or hub rooms across all sites and to engage in a collaborative technical partnership.

It is the Authority’s intention to award an initial contract for a period of 3 years from 9.1.2020 until 8.1.2025. There are options to extend the contract for a further 2 x 12 month periods (5 + 1 + 1).
