A delivered food service is required to supplement the University’s own in-house facility, Fresh Thinking, in particular at busy times of year. The service must be in accordance with the requirements of the University’s Food Safety Policy. Please note that it is the University’s intention to keep as much catering business in-house as possible.

II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:

Requirements will be for fork and finger buffets, sandwich lunches and hot and cold beverages for any number of clients (5 — 500) as required. Provision must be made for vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, Halal and any other special dietary requirements as requested. Full allergen information must be provided. Suppliers should state whether they are able to offer alcoholic beverages under the Licensing Act 2003 (evidence of licence will be required). Service must be prompt, hygienic and efficient in accordance with the requirements of the client and must be delivered quietly and discreetly so as not to disturb any meetings. Disposable tableware (or when requested non-disposable alternatives) must be provided. All tableware (whether disposable or not) and surplus food must be collected promptly after the meeting, at a time convenient to the client.
