There will be 2 lots to be tendered for; Lot 1 — Launder Only and Lot 2 — Launder and Hire.
Each lot will be evaluated separately.
Hiring of laundry is a new concept for the University and will be phased in from June 2017 as accommodation is refurbished.
The estimated value of the framework agreement is between 600 000 GBP and 1 000 000 GBP based on volume during the last calendar year. This is a total value for both lots added together.

The tender process for this framework agreement will be conducted via the In-Tend tendering portal using the open procedure. The Invitation to Tender has been published with this notice and to access this document prospective tenderers are require to register on www.in-tendhost.co.uk/kentAll responses to the Invitation to Tender should be submitted using the aforementioned tendering portal by 12:00 midday on 27.6.2016. Hard copies or emailed responses will not be accepted. Following this date the evaluation panel will evaluate the responses to identify the tenderer who has submitted the most economically advantageous response. The University of Kent reserves the right not to award a framework agreement and is not liable for any costs incurred by any prospective tenderers.
It is anticipated that the framework agreement will be awarded in August 2016.
