The Contract will provide for a single supply of between 40 & 50 vehicles in 2012 and further supply of additional vehicles, quantity unknown, as and when required during the period of the Contract.
The Contract will include for the provision of a full fleet management service and repairs service including the prompt provision of replacement or substitute vehicles to keep the fleet at the required number and profile.
The Contract will provide for the outright purchase of specialist vehicles at a discount to list price at any point during the five year term.
The proposed Contract will be for five (5) years with no extension period. Lease arrangements for vehicles will be for four year terms with Dales Housing holding the option to extend an individual vehicles lease term in one month increments up to a maximum fifth annivesary.
The contracting authority reserve the right to discontinue the procurement process at any time which shall include the right not to award a contract and does not bind itself to accept the lowest bid or any tender/ PQQ received.
The contracting authority shall not be liable for any cost or expense incurred by any candidate orTenderer in connection with the completion and return information requested in this contract notice or in the completion or submission of any PQQ or tender.

The provision of a vehicle fleet for Dales Housing on a lease arrangement where the lease for each vehicle will be for four years with an option to extend to up to five years. The fleet will comprise between forty (40) and fifty (50) commercial style vans and small trucks of a variety of sizes and style.

Description of these options: Requirement Changes – The contracting authority may amend the number of vehicles required within the fleet and also retain the option to add additional geographical areas into the Contract packages or establish additional or alternative Contract packages.
