2.2

Description of the goods or services required

NHS Education Scotland (NES) is seeking Invitations to Tender (ITT’s) from organisations or individuals with proven experience in identifying and developing key messages and producing video animation resources. The resources will be used to educate and raise awareness of the Health & Work Agenda with staff across Health, Social Care and Third Sector organisations. The provider will be able to undertake two linked activities:

1. To identify, develop and produce written content of around 5 key messages which will relate to the Health & Work Agenda in Scotland and UK. Research to identify the key messages in relation to the Health and Work Agenda will be guided by NES. Take the developed written content of the key messages and produce associated art and design work (as per NES style guidelines) for use as promotional materials, eg postcards. Examples of promotional materials sought are included in the ITT document.

2. To take the key message material to develop and produce a video/animation that articulates and promotes the key messages in a thoughtful and engaging way. The content will be suitable for hosting on the client’s existing web based environment (SCORM compliant web-based module). The video/animation will be required in a number of different file formats for use as promotional material. Production of written transcripts for the video/animation.

Supply of 100 copies of the video/animation to include the relevant design artwork is also required.

Links to resource materials relating to the subject matter, along with examples of the styles and formats that have influenced the thinking behind the project requirement are noted within the ITT document.
