- The London Borough of Brent is seeking suitable qualified organisation to provide Virtual Learning Alternative Provision for pupils who have been excluded from mainstream school or who are unable to attend mainstream school due to other reasons.
It is the Council’s expectation that the Virtual Learning platform will be accessible, easy to navigate and deliver a varied timetable of subjects for pupils to learn and gain qualifications.
The Organisation will be responsible for monitoring attainment, attendance, and academic progress and ensure robust safeguarding procedures are in place. The Organisation will need to ensure the virtual learning programme is accessible to excluded pupils within the statutory timeframe (6 days / 1 day for Looked After Children).
The Contract will commence on the 1st September 2015 until the 31st August 2017, with the option to extend for up to a further 12 months.
