Description of the contract

Visit Birmingham is the city’s official leisure tourism programme for Birmingham, part of Marketing Birmingham’s destination marketing strategy. As one of the top visitor cities in the UK, attracting over 32 million visitors a year, Birmingham is a must-visit leisure destination for all. Further information about the programme – www.visitbirmingham.com The aim is to promote Birmingham, the Black Country and Solihull as an international destination of choice. The primary focus of the campaign is to attract overnight and international visitors and that will increase the volume and value. The secondary focus is to attract day visitors from outside of Birmingham, the Black Country and Solihull. This tender opportunity will see the successful organisation produce the final edit from raw footage provided in Digi Beta format and on a hard drive. The full length of the TV advert is 10” TV and will be going on air throughout May 2012. The agency selected will be required to evaluate the raw footage from the three locations which have already been filmed including Solihull Town Centre, Black Country Living Museum and Brindleyplace and provide recommendations on footage selected and bring it all together to finalise our 10” advert. Out of this 10”, 4” will be the end frame call to action of visitbirmingham.com and the first 6” will be the edited footage. Depending on the quality of the footage you will also be required to improve the finished output where possible, for example, lighted and blue skies etc to ensure contracts is good, colours are enhance to make it look as vibrant as possible.
