VLE Training Contract
Provision of Virtual Learning Environment Training Package. We now wish to embrace the latest version of PRINCE 2 and allow employees to undertake Foundation and/or Practitioner level training using a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).None
The Council is looking to build on the approach it has taken in the past to project management by offering a training programme to those employees who make use of this in their daily duties.
Previously we have adopted various approaches to project management which have involved both Computer Based Training and tutor lead classroom training.
We now wish to embrace the latest version of PRINCE 2 and allow employees to undertake Foundation and/or Practitioner level training using a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
Our approach will be to offer employees the chance to undertake the training either at work or from home allowing them to do this in their own time.
We also wish to offer employees the chance to undertake the training with or without certification as some will wish only to familiarise themselves with the concepts as opposed to taking an exam at the end of the course – where they opt not to take the exam, upon successful completion of the course a certificate will need to be issued electronically.
Following the completion of the VLE training the employees will then be introduced to the Council’s own Project Management Database using a training course which will be developed and delivered by our own IT Training Unit.
The specification will be published when the opportunity is advertised and you
can access the documents after expressing an interest, the documents will be
available in the ‘Opportunities’ section and you are required to open the top
right hand folder to view the contents.
