The Authority is looking for a provider that can warehouse and store all our materials, be able to pick and pack, and deliver goods in dedicated vehicles within 5 working days. Orders are placed via a web portal attached to the successful provider’s warehouse management system. The current IT systems developed for NHS Health Scotland are bespoke and tenderers are advised that applications for inclusion within the tender process will rely on the ability to provide such systems management as well as maintaining costs associated with providing such a service. There are scheduled and timed deliveries to the following areas:
Western Isles, Orkney, Shetland
Highland and Grampian
Argyll & Clyde, Ayrshire & Arran, Lanarkshire, Forth Valley, Tayside, Fife, Greater Glasgow, Lothian
Dumfries and Galloway, Borders
Occassional delivery outwith Scotland

Warehousing capacity to store and manage between 600 and 850 pallets. Last year we made over 4 500 deliveries, these ranged from single or multiple boxes to single or multiple pallets. We also require the supplier to have a web based stock managment system and ordering portal. Please note the figures below are for per annum.
