NPMA Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Anglia Ruskin University, charged with providing the Facilities Management services to Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, Chelmsford and Peterborough.
NPMA is seeking a potential provider of non-hazardous waste and recycling services to the two main campuses of Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge and Chelmsford , to include collection, transfer and recovery/disposal services. We are seeking a pay-by-lift contract with the provision of weight data for each lift, and a commitment from the successful tenderer to work with us to develop pay-by-weight arrangments over the duration of the contract. Potential providers will be expected to work with the University to identify innovative waste minimisation and zero landfill solutions.
Please note the closing date for your Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) is 12:00 noon on 15.3.2013.
Tenderers are to note lodgement of large electronic files may take time and as such tenderers must allow sufficient time to fully transmit all files prior to the closing time. Please see paragraph 1.11 of the Waste and Recycling Services PQQ document for further information.

Anglia Ruskin University was awarded University status in 1992. Today, with a student population of around 28,000 we are one of the largest universities in the East of England, and a large provider of part-time education. Our students are on courses leading to undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, as well as to a range of professional qualifications. Our main campuses at Cambridge and Chelmsford attract students not only from the East of England but increasing numbers from mainland Europe and from further afield.
NPMA Ltd are seeking potential providers for the provision of non-hazardous waste and recycling service at Anglia Ruskin University to include collection, transfer and recovery/disposal services. The Tender will be devided into two lots – Lot 1 for the provision of the service at our Cambridge Campus and Lot 2 for the provision of the service at our Chelmsford Campus.
The contract is initially for 3 years but depending on satisfactory performance, there may be an option for 2 x 12 months extension.
