II.1.5)Short description of the contract or purchase(s):

Analysis of raw, process and final water samples from treatment works, service reservoirs and customers taps is required on a daily basis 24/7. Samples are to be collected daily from a nominated Dee Valley Water address. Analysis will be carried out under a suitable quality system that is UKAS ISO17025 accredited and meets the requirements of the Water Supply (Water Quality) Regulations 2010.
Service Providers must be capable of receiving electronic registration of samples with results and exceedences being reported daily (24/7) electronically. Service Providers must be able to analyse emergency samples 24 hours per day, 365 days annually.

Dee Valley Water plc reserve the right to chnge without notice the procedure for award of this contract, to reject all or any bids for the contract, to terminate discussions with any or all interested applicants and to stop the process and not award the contract without any liability on it’s part. Dee Valley Water plc are not liable for any costs incurred by those expressing interest in, negotiating or tendering for this contract. Applicants will be required to complete and return a pre-qualification questionnaire which will be available upon request. Completed pre-qualification questionnaires must be returned to Dee Valley Water plc within the specified timescales.
