This contract is for the supply, packing, online ordering system and fulfilment of bespoke customer engagement packs/products.
We promote water efficiency to customers through both advice and the provision of water saving devices.
A key part of the Ofwat approved water efficiency activity carried out by all water companies is a free water saving pack, provided to household customers.
The pack contains inexpensive, easy to install devices to reduce water use through taps, showers and toilet flushing. All products contained in the pack have full WRAS (water fitting regulations) approval.
We also provide bulk supplies of water saving products such as cistern devices (flushsavers) and tap aerators for use in multi-occupancy properties, such as student halls of residence and hotels.
Due to the increasingly large demand for the packs, we provide these to customers via a supplier. The supplier provides both the majority of the pack contents and also a fulfilment (picking and packing and dispatch of bespoke customer packs) service.
This will include supply of water efficient devices, water saving pack fulfilment and potentially some ad hoc joint promotion activity as required.
In addition to the above, via the communications team we run a number of campaigns throughout the year that require us to provide free engagement packs to customers in an attempt to change their behaviours around the incorrect disposal of fat, oil and grease down toilets and sinks or help them protect their homes from cold weather.
For this purpose we require a supplier who can source relevant products, provide an online ordering facility and a fulfilment option.
On occasions we would like a supplier that has a freepost address so that customers can request engagement packs via this method. We also would like the facility to be able to capture data and input survey results coming in via freepost requests.
