The appointed contractor(s) will be provided with a ‘Property Schedule’ on a prioritised risk basis and will be expected to liaise with the relevant Property Responsible Person on access arrangements for the initial Risk Assessments, the ongoing monitoring tasks and the six monthly servicing of the Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMV’s) and any additional requirements relating to this.
The work will generally be ordered in packages of approximately 150 properties to be risk assessed on a yearly basis, whilst the monitoring and the servicing aspect of approx 500 premises will be on going for the period of the contract. There will be one Log Book provided to each individual site by the appointed contractor and an approximate half hour on site training of the responsible person or/and caretakers, on the weekly tasks such as ‘flushing through little used outlets’. The Water Cistern and System Disinfection work will be required as and when the governing principle of Risk Assessment or monitoring/visual inspection dictates.
