Description of the goods or services requiredWe wish to identify a contractor who, working with our project staff and partners, can create and develop an adaptive website, to help inspire and engage people both with the Flows to the Future project and the Flow Country in Caithness and Sutherland. At this stage we are seeking expressions of interest and a summary strategy. Flows to the Future is a project being delivered by the Peatlands Partnership, with RSPB as the lead body. The main funder of the project is the Heritage Lottery Fund, but this element of the project also has funding from Highlands and Islands Enterprise. We want to deliver a creative online experience that brings this remote conservation project closer to home. The website will be developed in the first year of the project, but we expect the online experience to develop further over the five years of the project, sustaining, developing and growing interest. A short document (two sides of A4) should outline how you would approach the website development and a few key ideas around engagement on a subject that might not immediately grab the public’s attention. Invited agencies/ organisations will then get an opportunity to submit further details and attend an interview. We welcome tenders from agencies/ organisations who wish also to submit tenders for our digital modelling tender.
