Description of the contract
The e-petitions site recently launched by the Government Digital Service and the Office of the Leader of the House of Commons has increasingly become popular amongst citizens. As popularity and usage increases there is a need to further develop the site and include a number of enhancements to improve the service and overall usability. The Government Digital Service is therefore looking to appoint a supplier who can enhance the e-petitions site and meet a number of key deliverables within a strict 3 week timeframe. The e-petitions site can be found at: http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/ Agile delivery is essential to this contract therefore the successful supplier is required to adopt an agile approach at every stage of the project, liaising closely with the Authority to ensure the best outcome overall. Please note: Potential Providers will be expected to submit responses by 5pm GMT on Monday 27 February 2012 with the Invitation to Tender being available from 6pm GMT on Wednesday 22 February. It is therefore highly recommended that registrations to the Dynamic Marketplace are completed at the earliest opportunity. (See below for more information). The successful supplier will be expected to have the contract signed by no later than Friday 2 March 2012 with the contract commencing on Monday 5 March 2012.
