Gloucestershire Police Authority are acting as lead force on behalf 17 Police authorities to award a contract to design, develop, implement & host a website for the newly appointed Police & crime commissioners office.
The key objectives for the project are outlined below:
— Plan, design, develop and implement new websites for all participating PCC’s based upon a master information architecture specification which is then cloned, adapted and re-skinned via the creation of individual brand templates to each PCC area following discussion,
— Deliver technical implementation of sites,
— Deliver online design (user experience, interface design, web app integration with social media platforms) for each site,
— Recommendation of a CMS platform to deliver the required functionality,
— Integration of database management system to include the provision & installation of the DMS for each site and the provision of DMS configuration services (online tracking of requests, FOI, forms etc) for each PCC site,
— Provision of Search engine optimisation (SEO),
— Provision of a 2 year hosting and maintenance contract to the PCC websites inclusive of a warranty period of 4 months post launch date.
