Website Development and Maintenance Contract – London
The awarded bidder will develop and deploy the website.
East London NHS Foundation Trust (ELFT) is an ‘outstanding’ provider of mental and community health services in Newham, Tower Hamlets, City & Hackney, plus in Bedfordshire and Luton. It has an annual turnover of over £400m and operates out of 160 sites. As part of its ambition, ELFT is looking to procure a one-stop, combined website and intranet which will also include integrating around nine existing microsites. The site will be cutting-edge for the NHS, in that it will help the Trust deliver its Digital First strategy by having strong transactional functionality and integration with existing apps and tools. The site should use the latest tools to maximise accessibility both in design and using powerful search tools and optimisation. This is a major investment for ELFT and one which is expected to lead the way in digital communications for other NHS trusts. The current Communications and marketing function within ELFT is outsourced to On the Level PR Limited and they will lead the management of content on the website. The Awarded bidder will develop and deploy the website, support the management and service the website in the lifetime of the contract.
