Description of the goods or services required

Wrexham Council’s communications department are looking to take their residents’ magazine, Connect, online.

When online we envisage that it is not a simple page turner, but an interactive product where residents can read the council’s news and make comments. We also want them to be able to watch videos, search back issues, subscribe to future editions and search easily for stories they wish to read.

The site must comply with accessibility guidelines with options to re-sixe text.

From the point of view of creating the pages, we would want this to be done in-house via a content management system and therefore would require training and support, in addition to the initial design set up. The product would also need to have a database of email addresses included, which we can populate, and be able to provide reader statistics.

We would need assurances of server security.

Our publications always need to be bilingual (English and Welsh) and therefore we would need to know how you would tackle this, and the cost implications involved.

Additional features should also include special edition and html emails.

Please also provide prices for multiple purchases
