Description of the contract

Ordnance Survey is looking to appoint a framework contract supplier to develop a website metrics strategy based on the Google analytics reporting tool so that users’ web activity is captured across all domains (and sub-domains) and reported in a global account and individual accounts for different management levels/interests. The successful supplier will be required to work onsite at Ordnance Survey headquarters in Southampton. The deliverables required will be; 1. identifying and documenting which events and goals to track that will add greatest business value by turning data into actionable analytics; 2. auditing current tagging approaches and recommending an efficient method of accurately tagging multiple URLs; 3. recommending how the corporate website needs to be developed further (with tagging and analytics) in order to capture the data required; 4. to establish and document processes and policies to maintain effective tagging and analytics going forwards; 5. to recommend additional analytical tools to allow for on-going testing and optimisation of website user interfaces 6. to implement the above deliverables. The successful Supplier will need to deliver the above-mentioned tasks by the following milestone dates: Tasks 1-3 by end of April 2013 Task 4-5 by end of May 2013 Task 6 by end of June 2013 The above will be required prior to the launch of a new corporate website in July so that the user experience of the new website can be measured and improvements can be identified going forwards. To register an interest, participants will need to demonstrate their capability and experience to deliver the requirements as outlined above and therefore are asked to provide at least two recent client examples with supporting evidence, where the requirements as listed above have been met. Also required as part of your expression of interest, is an indicative plan showing how the required deliverables will be undertaken to meet the task phases listed above. The indicative plan should show the costs per task phase, the resource deployment in each phase to meet the timescales. . In addition, participants should provide copies of Insurance certification to include Public and Employers Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance.(Minimum of £1m for each) Registrations of interest will be evaluated against the following criteria; Acceptance of Ordnance Survey’s Terms and Conditions 25% Two recent client examples covering the required deliverable’s 25% Indicative Plan meeting required timescales 25% Insurance Certification 25% Those Participants who are able to fully demonstrate the required capability and relevant experience will be taken through to the tender stage.
