South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive (SYPTE) and West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive (WYPTE) require the services of a suitably qualified and experienced company to provide the organisations with the following services: – Provide a secure, robust and reliable hosting infrastructure for websites delivered by SYPTE and WYPTE, that provides suitable resilience and disaster recovery. – Provide the maintenance, management and technical support for the aforementioned services for a contract period of 48 months in the first instance. SYPTE and WYPTE both operate a number of websites and web-based applications including www.travelsouthyorkshire.com and www.wymetro.com. The websites are typically built using Ektron 400.net Content Management System but standard asp.net and open-source based websites also need to be hosted. SYPTE and WYPTE run Microsoft server products for their server infrastructure (MS Windows Server and MS SQL Server).

Section III: Legal, economic, financial and technical information
Minimum level(s) of standards possibly required: 1. Evidence of satisfactory financial standing for the previous 3 years.
2. Demonstration of a minimum annual turnover of at least 200 000,00 GBP for the previous 3 years.
Compltion of a Pre Qualification Questionnaire will be required.
Minimum level(s) of standards possibly required:
1. Evidence regarding the number projects you have carried out in the last 12 months which have related to the provision of web hosting services? Please provide 3 examples or case studies of a number of these projects.
2. Evidence of a hosting solution that you have provisioned and maintained for an organisation who had smiliar requirements (as outlined in the Summary Specification).
3. For the example given above or similar, evidence is also required of the set up timeline, and the support provided to the client during the implementation or setup phase.
4. Evidence of your previous experience of hosting proprietary Content Management Systems, such as Ektron or similar, and how you ensure you can support these technologies.
5. Evidence of your experience in providing first and second line support and maintenance for all hardware and associated operating system software supplied.
6. Evidence of the previous experience of suitably qualified and experienced staff, with suitable examples of work, that support the following areas.
a. Design of secure hosting.
b. Setup of secure hosting solutions.
c. Server and operating support.
d. Network support.
7. Evidence of access to the use of equipment within the EU for Data Protection reasons.
Section IV: Procedure
Objective criteria for choosing the limited number of candidates: Expressions of interest will be evaluated against the minimum standards set out in 111.2.2 and 2.3 above, if the number of candidates remain above the maximum set of 6 they will be evaluated on a scored assessment for technical capacity, full details of which are included in the documentation for this tender available on our website at www.sypte.co.uk/contracts and the 6 highest scoring candidates will be invited.
