Description of the contract

The Welsh Government wishes to increase access to Welsh-medium education in the Foundation Phase. In order to achieve this aim the Welsh Government wishes to train additional classroom assistants who are able to work through the medium of Welsh in both the maintained sector and the funded non-maintained sector

In its drive to support the training of a sufficiently qualified workforce to work with 3 to 7-year-olds, the Welsh Government will require the successful tenderer(s) to ensure delivery of at least 200 Welsh-medium CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Care Learning and Development candidates per annum. The training for the Level 3 Diploma should be work-based in settings/schools providing the Foundation Phase. The tenderer will need to ensure the availability of a suitable placement for each candidate attending the course.

The Welsh Assembly Government, on behalf of the Welsh Ministers, will be conducting this procurement exercise through the etenderwales portal https://etenderwales.bravosolution.co.uk. E-TENDER ACCESS INFORMATION:
