West Bletchley Council provides a devolved Landscape maintenance service on behalf of Milton Keynes Council and is seeking a 3-year contract to enable it to continue devolved service delivery. West Bletchley Council is intent on maintaining the high standards that have been set over the last 5 years, as expected by local residents, and to develop both the management and use of those open space areas.
This contract covers the maintenance of parks, open spaces, natural areas, play areas, housing areas, highways verges, and others with approximately 70 hectare of grass to each cut cycle.

West Bletchley Council wishes to enter into a 3-year contract for maintenance of general landscaped areas of open space within the parish of West Bletchley in the borough of Milton Keynes.
West Bletchley is predominantly a residential area, with little in the way of commercial property. There is an abundance of open space areas, including general grassed areas around and between dwelling houses as well as identified parks and sports areas and grassed highway verges.
Being one of the older established parts of Milton Keynes, there are many established trees bordering roadways and in parks. Chepstow Park is 1 of few parks in Milton Keynes to retain Green Flag status.
West Bletchley Council provides a devolved Landscape maintenance service on behalf of Milton Keynes Council and is seeking a 3-year contract to enable it to continue devolved service delivery. West Bletchley Council is intent on maintaining the high standards that have been set over the last 5 years, as expected by local residents, and to develop both the management and use of those open space areas.
This contract covers the maintenance of parks, open spaces, natural areas, play areas, housing areas, highways verges, allotments and others with approximately 70 hectare of grass to each cut cycle.
The provision of sports pitches, games facilities, conservation and ecological areas are regarded as a major contribution to the well-being of local residents.
Start date: 1.4.2020.
End date: 31.3.2023.
Contract value: 420 000 to 480 000 GBP.
