The Arts Council is delivering a programme of strategic research themed around the economics of cultural activity. Our key aim for this programme is to develop our understanding of how the arts, museums and libraries sectors contribute to the economy, in order to support the sector to continue to improve their contribution to the nation’s economic prosperity.
