The North Western Universities Purchasing Consortium (NWUPC) is a not for profit organisation owned by its full members consisting of 24 Universities. NWUPC set up and contract manage framework agreements, which are established to ensure compliance with the European Procurement Regulations which cover public sector contracts over a certain threshold value. NWUPC are conducting market engagement for the retender of a framework agreement for white goods and associated products and services. The agreement is a national framework agreement and is available to members of the following consortia: APUC, CPC, HEPCW, LUPC, NEUPC, NWUPC and SUPC. NWUPC are taking the lead role in establishing the framework on behalf of NWUPC members and the aforementioned regional consortia. NWUPC are seeking the input of the market on a number of areas to help inform the structure of the framework and the scope of requirements. The North Western Universities Purchasing Consortium (NWUPC) is a not for profit organisation owned by its full members consisting of 24 Universities. NWUPC set up and contract manage framework agreements, which are established to ensure compliance with the European Procurement Regulations which cover public sector contracts over a certain threshold value. NWUPC are conducting market engagement for the retender of a framework agreement for white goods and associated products and services. The agreement is a national framework agreement and is available to members of the following consortia: APUC, CPC, HEPCW, LUPC, NEUPC, NWUPC and SUPC. The scope of the current agreement is inclusive of:
— refrigeration products: fridges, fridge/freezers, freezers, under counter fridges and freezers, built under fridges, under counter larders, upright larders and freezers, wine cellars, mini bars;
— cookers/ovens: cookers, ovens, hobs, hoods, chimney extractor hoods, fan ovens, solid plate hobs, ceramic hobs, table top cookers;
— washing machines: washing machines, washer/dryers;
— tumble dryers: tumble dryers, condenser tumble dryers;
dishwashers: built-in dishwashers, dishwashers;
miscellaneous: kettles, toasters, microwaves, microwave and grill, microwave grill convection oven, vacuum cleaners, steam irons, heaters, sandwich toasters, rice cookers.
The goods provided on this agreement will be pre-dominently used in student accomodation. There are six (6) suppliers party to the current framework agreement. To this end, NWUPC are seeking the input of the market on a number of areas to help inform the structure of the framework and the scope of requirements.
