The University of Manchester would like to invite expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to undertake a construction of a new extension and the refurbishment and alteration of the existing Grade II listed building comprising the Whitworth Art Gallery on Oxford Road, Manchester.
The contract value of the work is expected to be within the range of GBP 10-12 000 000. Details of the proposed construction works including the architects description, selected drawings, and the current project programme, are available to download from the university’s tender web site.
To take part in the tender, contractors will be required to register via the University’s -intend system www.intendhost.com/universityofmanchester Once registered, contractors must down load the relevant PQQ- pre qualification questionnaire, and upload the PQQ upon completion.

All applicants should also be mindful of the issuing of tenders and the closing dates as specified.
