University Hospitals Birmingham is seeking to appoint a contractor to provide Internal and External Widow Cleaning Services for the buildings under its responsibility. For the avoidance of doubt, the definition within this requirement shall mean the glass panel and may include the frame to which the glass is enclosed.

The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SME’s). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement of this contract. University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust promotes equal opportunity and this is central to our aims and the delivery of the services. This includes racial, gender, age and disability equality. The awarded contract will be subject to an Alcatel standstill period following a full evaluation of all tenders submitted. The contract will be let for an initial 3 years, with an option to extend for up to a further 2 years.
