Windows. Installation of windows. Thurrock Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified organisations for the provision and installation of “Approved”, “A” rated, Secured by Design, double glazed, PVCu section windows to a number of low rise residential dwellings within the borough of Thurrock.
The successful contractor will be responsible for the on site surveys, the supply of information and design to the manufacture, shipment, storage and the installation of the window frames and glazed unit in accordance with the manufacturers printed instructions.
The successful contractor will also be responsible for the provision of welfare facilities and the daily removal from site of all resulting debris to an approved waste management site and providing detailed information on the programming, installation and costs as the work proceeds.
Thurrock Council currently contracts with a diverse group of voluntary, statutory and private sector providers and encourages a range of organisations, regardless of size, to apply for this provision.
Applicants will be required to express interest by emailing procurement@thurrock.gov.uk using the reference PS/2011/090. A pre-qualification questionnaire will be sent with further information for return by 12 noon on Wednesday 11.4.2012.
