Liverpool City Council (LCC), Liverpool in Work (LIW), part of the Employment and Skills Business Unit, intends to establish a project that provides targeted support for women living in Liverpool to access training and skills development opportunities leading to self-employment and employment through enterprise creation.
LIW works closely with its Business Unit Partner Adult Learning Service (ALS) to ensure that pre-employment education and training provision is of a high quality, relevant to the needs of employers and effective in preparing job seekers to access the available opportunities.
The Women’s Enterprise Project will contribute to Liverpool in Works overall delivery of the ESF Pathways Enabling Programme.
The project will run initially for five months with the possibility of a further four month extension.

A maximum budget of £145,000 European Social Fund is available and all applicants will be required to contribute an equal amount of £145,000 as match funding (50% match funded project).
