The Imperial War Museum (IWM) is embarking upon the implementation of the project entitled Imperial War Museum London Regeneration: First World War Centenary. A design team, exhibition designer, cost consultant and project manager have already been appointed through similar procurements carried out by IWM. A base build construction manager is subject to a separate procurement that is currently drawing to a close, the reference for this is OJEU notice 2010/S 198-302026.

The procurement strategy for the exhibition installation element of this works is to be a construction management route, whereby the Client is in contract with each individual trade contractor and appoints an exhibition construction manager (EXCM) to work alongside the professional team and direct trade contractors (but with no individual contractual link with them). This procurement concerns the selection of a suitable company to carry out the role of EXCM for the implementation of the project.
