The provision of a young people’s sexual health service, for any young person aged 24 and under living in Highland. The service will include provision of a suitable environment for the provision of clinical and health promotion services by appropriately trained and qualified members of staff, to be used for the exclusive use of young people in relation to awareness raising, information, advice and counselling to protect and improve sexual health. Clinics to be run on a “drop-in” basis. Provision of all appropriate forms of contraception, STI testing, including testing for Chlamydia and HIV.

The contract will run from 1.10.2014 until 31.3.2017.
The annual budget for each contractual year of this contract is 145k GBP per annum, pro-rata’d in year one.
It is highlighted that the Health Board will not accept bids which exceed this annual budget.
Up to a further 8k GBP per annum (pro-rata’d in year one) will be made available to the successful bidder to be used specifically for the purchase of sub-dermal contraceptive implants and which the Bidder will be able to draw down as and when required throughout each financial year of the Contract.
Bidders should be aware that the Health Board receives funding from the Scottish Government for this contract and any change in the funding will be reflected in an amendment to the contract by means of a Variation to Contract Form or possible premature termination.
